You need to be careful when washing your face that you don’t strip it of its natural oils. This makes it age quicker and encourages your skin to produce more oil which can lead to pimples. Armed with this knowledge we have come up with a Deeply Cleansing Facial Exfoliant based on organic shea butter, cold pressed oils, local bioactive raw honey, almond meal, ground sacred blue lotus petals and cinnamon to gently exfoliate.
A topical application of cinnamon with honey is said to get rid of pimples, blackheads and excema!
Rinse off well with warm to hot water to leave a moisturising barrier or use a hot face washer to completely remove excess oils.

What’s in it…

*Almond Meal acts as a gentle physical exfoliant to soften, unclog pores and brighten skin. The natural oils in almonds also create a healthy moisture balance in the skin and are full of wonderful amino acids.

*Raw Honey is a bioactive ingredient and naturally antibacterial, so it’s great for acne treatment and prevention. Aging: Full of antioxidants, it is great for slowing down aging. Complexion boost: It is extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a glow. We source our honey from a small local bee keeper. We also use his bee’s wax in our salves and lip balms.

*Shea Butter is also a bioactive ingredient. Incredibly moisturizing and nourishing, it’s widely used to remedy dry skin. It as properties that improve and heal skin allergies, bug bites, sunburns, frostbites, and other skin conditions, and lightens discoloration and stretch marks on the skin.

*Sacred Blue Lotus is a powerful anti-aging oil and beneficial to all skin types. It provides instant hydration for dry skin as well as balances out oily skin. It works on repairing the damage to proteins (collagen and elastin) in your skin. Sacred Blue Lotus has a divine essence, bringing heightened awareness and tranquility. We infuse many of our oils which we use in our skin care range with the petals and stamens of the flower and also add the therapeutic grade essential oil to each product. Bliss

The blue lotus was sacred to the ancient Egyptians. The god of the blue water lily was Nefertem, Lord of Perfume. The flowers were not only noted for their delightful perfume by the Egyptians but also for bringing euphoria, heightened awareness and tranquility.
