Frequently Asked Questions
Q. I like using the face scrub, but I’m not keen on the residue left afterwards. What’s the best way to use it so I remove it all?
A. To remove all traces of the shea butter and oils which the scrub is based on, use a warm to hot face washer, hold it against your skin for a few seconds and gently wipe it away.
Q. My body butter melted on a hot day. What do I do, and can I still use it?
A. Yes, you can still use it! It will have lost volume due to the air which had been whipped into it being displaced. If you are feeling adventurous, you can pour it into a bowl, pop it in the fridge to cool it down for 10 minutes or so and re-whip it like cream. Always keep your Bare Beauty products cool in warmer weather.
Q. My lip balm melted in the car when it was hot. Is it still ok to use?
A. It is still fine to use. Try to keep your Bare Beauty products in a cool place as we do not use stabilizers in them.
Q. The face cream made my skin oily. Am I using too much?
A. You only need a very small amount depending on your skin type. Start with a tiny bit (1/8 tsp worth) and add more if needed. A little goes a very long way!
Q. My deodorant went really soft when it was quite warm. Will it still be ok?
A. Like with all our products, we recommend that you keep your pit-stop in a cool place. In summer we add more bees wax to make it firmer. Also, a little goes a long way – you don’t need to put it on thick!
